The television show "Biography" is one of my favorites. They pick a famous person and have great historical facts pertaining to who they're profiling. There are usually also some great flim clips to be seen. The problem is that if this show continues to be successful, some of the personalities chosen won't be as well known as the ones in the earilier shows. Here is an example of some of the people "Biography" will profile in the future:
1. Abner Blunk- Abner was the first silent screen star in the Ukraine. At one time it seemed that Abner was destined to be the next Rudolf Valentino. Unfortunately he blew that opportunity when he insisted on playing the romantic lead in the movie "My Very Hot Heart" dressed as a parrot.
2. Emily Skank- Many people in the aviation industry thought that Emily was going to be the greatest female pilot until she lost her mind in 1933 and tried to take flight by flapping her arms in the upper deck at Yankee Stadium during the playing of the National Anthem.
3. Wong Chow Dong- Wong was the first man in the United States to open up a dry cleaning store. Sadly, Wong spent the last ten years of his life in prison for putting excess starch in his wife's soup.
4. Stanford Sharpe- Sanford was recognized as the world's first known sword swallower. This episode of "Biography" will show how Stanford started at the age of three swallowing pocket knives. He eventually worked his way up to kitchen knives and lumberjack saws. Amazingly, at the age of 63, while doing some office work in his study Stanford bled to death from a paper cut.
5. Hans "Chuckles" Hitler- An extremely talented clown, Chuckles career was tremendously hindered due to the fact that he was first cousin to Adolph. Refusing to change his name surely didn't help matters. He was more skilled then probably any clown that ever performed for Ringling Bros., but thanks to his last name was never asked to be one of their acts. For many years Chuckles was resigned to perform at children's parties and for a very minor troupe called, "Wolfgang's Travelling Circus And Interior Decorators."
